Location and Area

University of Computer Studies (Banmaw) is situated near the Si In village, Banmaw Township. It is five miles far from Banmaw and its area is 55.53 acres.

Historical background

Government Computer College (Banmaw) has been started to open on February 25, 2002 in Shwe Pyi Thar Village, three miles away from Banmaw. It was upgraded to Computer University (Banmaw) on 20th January, 2007 and has been transferred to 53 percent accomplished three-storey new main building. Dr. May Phyo Oo, Professor, Ph.D (IT), is the Pro-Rector of University of Computer Studies (Banmaw).
